2nd Avenue Singers
Every voice leaves a trace. We help yours find its line — technique, range, and confidence, taught one-to-one and in small groups, from anywhere in the world.
"Sing from wherever you are."
"Breath first, then everything."
The idea
A voice is not
performed. It is
left behind.
We treat every lesson as a recording of who you are becoming. No crowded classrooms, no rushing — just careful attention to the sound only you can make, session after session.
The line your voice follows
Six stations between where you are and the singer you hear in your head.
Breath
The engine of every note — support before sound.
Pitch
Hearing it, then landing it, cleanly and freely.
Range
Opening the top and grounding the bottom, safely.
Musicality
Phrasing, dynamics, and the feel of a line.
Performance
Presence, storytelling, and command of a room.
Confidence
The quiet certainty that lets you let go.

In their words
Notes from our singers.
Three lessons in and I can already hear the difference in my breath. It feels less like a class and more like someone finally listening to my voice.
I signed up nervous about singing over video. Within a week it felt completely natural — like the studio came to my living room.
"You don't push the note. You let it arrive."
The group class is my favourite hour of the week. Hearing our voices blend for the first time genuinely gave me chills.
A studio is a mood before it is a method.
Warm light, real instruments, and full attention — the atmosphere we bring to every online session.

We meet over a live video call at your scheduled time. You'll need a quiet room, headphones, and a phone or laptop — no special equipment. Your teacher guides warm-ups, technique, and repertoire in real time, just as they would in person.
More than okay — it's where many of our students start. The Voice Foundations Course is built for first-timers, and private coaching adapts fully to your level. You never need to read music to begin.
All of them. Because everything is online, we schedule around where you live. When you reach out, let us know your city and we'll find times that fit comfortably into your week.
Absolutely. Many singers begin one-to-one and later join a group, or add a masterclass on top of regular lessons. Your path is yours to reshape as your voice grows.
